Helping Ahtutu – five top tips

Many people want to help Ahtutu in the work it does to support young people in SW Myanmar, even if they don’t have much money.  Thank you very much if you are one of them!

Every single penny we fundraise goes towards helping young people  Here are our five top tips to help raise funds….

  1. Donate your skills.  Perhaps you are a gifted writer or photographer or a keen cook.  HIghlight the work Ahtutu is doing by posting your writing or photo on Fb or Instagram, directing people to the Ahtutu website – https://www.ahtutucharity.org.uk .  Write a travel log and donate the fee to Ahtutu. Cook a Myanmar meal and invite your friends to come along and buy dinner.
  2. Donate your stuff or collect stuff from other people.  Ahtutu is always looking for good quality second-hand laptops and tablets to take to the students and new or nearly new wooden toys, school resources, books and DVDs to take to the village and new cotton materials for Days for Girls.
  3. Organise an Ahtutu fundraiser – a quiz night, a karaoke night, a film night, a ceilidh.
  4. Direct people to the website to buy one of Ahtutu’s charity gifts at Christmas or for birthdays- https://www.ahtutucharity.org.uk/market .
  5. Buy things online.  When buying anything from a holiday to a paperclip online use https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/ahtutu/  to spend no more yourself but get a free donation from thousands of retailers.

Thank you for your support!
